Aladdin Is Funny!
There are three themes in the story Alladin. The first one, it is love because Aladdin falls in love with Princess Badr-al-Budur. She was the most beautiful woman in Arabia and has big dark eyes and he thought of various ways to try to get her to love him. For example, he asked his mother to give Badr-al-budur's father the gold plate with a lot of jewels, but his Vizier also want to marry her. He has more jewels than Aladdin, so her father decided that she would marry the Vizier. Aladdin also thought how to marry her, and he asked the Jinnee to bring her and he married her. But Abanazar who had pretended to be Aladdin's uncle tempted to take her away from Aladdin. Aladdin killed Abanazer to defend her in the end. I like this scene because Aladdin and Badr-al-Budur seem like the happiest couple in Arabia. The second theme is adventure. For example, Aladdin went down stairs under the ground to bring the lamp for Abanazar and Aladdin looked afraid. Abanazar deceived Badr-al-Budur into the belief that she can exchange an old lamp for a new lamp. This scene irritated me. Because she sold it despite Alladin cherished it. I thought "Don't sell it!" The other theme is fantasy. Jinnee grants his master everything. His existence is especially fantastic. Abanazar is a magician so the stone moves easily, when Aladdin put his hand on the ring and says his name. These are unbelievable! When I was reading this story, I was excited to think about what happens next. It is funny story and original not Disney so I recommend to you.

PALM COURT
There are three reasons that Palm Court is a good restaurant. First, the food is very delicious! I ordered a cheeseburger with french fries. The burger had tomatoes, onions, cheese, lettuces and ketchup on it and it was very big. There were too many french fries for me. They were thin and crispy. Its was 10 dollars which was reasonable for me. Second, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very restful, because they played classical music. The music was quiet and made me relax. The restaurant was elegant, gorgeous, clean and beautiful. It looked like a castle. Finally, our server was kind, friendly and funny. His service was good, and he often asked us whether our food was OK and we needed anything. He also answered our questions politely with his good smile. We took a picture with him. I had very good time.

My Hometown
I have three favorite things about my hometown of Kobe Japan. First, there is the Akashi channel bridge. This bridge connects Kobe and Awaji island. It started in 1998 when I was 9 years old. Before it was completely built, my mother, my grandmother and I could walk on the bridge. We were lucky women, because we received a postcard and it said you are able to walk on the bridge! We were one of very first people who were able to walk on the bridge! We could walk the whole bridge, but I became tired, so we didn't go all the way Awaji island. The bridge has neon light, so it shines at night. It's very beautiful! There is a small park near the bridge. When I was child, I often go there with my father. I like it there. Second, there are many stores in Sannomiya, a big town in the city of Kobe. I often buy clothes, cosmetics, accessories and so on there. Also, in Sannomiya there are good restaurants. Finally, there is Rokko mountain. The night view from the top of this mountain is very beautiful but it's cold in the winter time, and so cool in the summer time. From the top of mountain Rokko we can see all of Kobe city. Also on the mountain we can do various activities, such as making cheese, making caramel and petting sheep. The mountain looks like the Alps. It is fun!

I'm Shoko! \(^o^)/
Hi! My name is Shoko. I would like to introduce myself to you. I'm from Kobe Japan and I'm nineteen years old. There are five people in my family, my parents, my older sister, my older brother and me. They are kind to me and I love them. Also, I love pot food in Japan. This kind of food is winter food. It is soup, napa cabbage, sea food, pork, chicken, tofu(bean curd), leeks, and so on in a pot. This food is healthy and low calorie! It's very nice! My favorite sport is basketball. When I was a junior high school and high school student, I was in the basketball club, but I don't play very well. Now, I am in a tennis group activity in college. I'm a beginner but, I enjoy myself. My hobbies are talking with my friends and cooking sweets. When I came to Spokane, I was surprised at snow all around! It doesn't snow like this in my hometown which is near to the sea. If you come to Japan, please come to my hometown!
Thank you!
