I have three favorite things about my hometown of Kobe Japan. First, there is the Akashi channel bridge. This bridge connects Kobe and Awaji island. It started in 1998 when I was 9 years old. Before it was completely built, my mother, my grandmother and I could walk on the bridge. We were lucky women, because we received a postcard and it said you are able to walk on the bridge! We were one of very first people who were able to walk on the bridge! We could walk the whole bridge, but I became tired, so we didn't go all the way Awaji island. The bridge has neon light, so it shines at night. It's very beautiful! There is a small park near the bridge. When I was child, I often go there with my father. I like it there. Second, there are many stores in Sannomiya, a big town in the city of Kobe. I often buy clothes, cosmetics, accessories and so on there. Also, in Sannomiya there are good restaurants. Finally, there is Rokko mountain. The night view from the top of this mountain is very beautiful but it's cold in the winter time, and so cool in the summer time. From the top of mountain Rokko we can see all of Kobe city. Also on the mountain we can do various activities, such as making cheese, making caramel and petting sheep. The mountain looks like the Alps. It is fun!
